Well, I'd like to help, but this turns me off:

"We want to keep an archive of corruption, misdoings and sketchy activities that take place here in Vancouver, Washington and Clark County. Please join us in exposing the corruption and lies of our elected officials, appointed city officials and other institutions."

No mention is made of the good things that folks in local government are doing, the tough problems they are dealing with, etc. Yes we have issues and shady things going on, but it's clear from your "mission" that you have an agenda and are only interested in one side. So count me out.

Dear In the Couv...

When you say:

"mention is made of the good things that folks in local government are doing,"

you are talking about a different theme for another blog.

Good blogs (even if you think they stink) Are FOCUSED on one subject or one theme. Consider blogs as "columns" like in newspapers.

I would encourage you to look into this further in terms of Vancouver corruption and Chinese monopoly of our solar industry. Centron Solar is creating a direct pipeline of revenue based on our stimulus money in form of Solar subsidies:

Please read further and make a difference, save our solar industry and manufacturers here at home!

Not much happening here. However, the city asked the Feds to look into this a year ago and again recently via a powerful letter signed by our city manager, city attorney, and the police chief.

My guess is that some who have slandered (knowingly) city management have to be very worried that the Feds might actually take these matters up.

Some of you who who have reacted to their statements are going to be in a difficult credibility position ... which is to me personally sad. You can get into a lot of trouble if you take the word of others at face value. Something many of you would find repugnant in others.
